What?
The Fat Fucking Nobodies are having their annual year end getaway and celebration. This year, everyone is invited
to join in the fun! We'll be invading the casinos of Tunica, Mississippi on the river as well as visiting nearby Memphis. Join us for such fun activities as:
- The quest for the best BBQ in Memphis, if not the world.
- Gambling with the blue haired old ladies in the casinos of Mississippi.
- Striking fear into the hearts of the kitchen staff at the casino buffet.
- Getting drunk and attempting to sing the blues on Beale Street in Memphis.
- Trip to rock and roll mecca as we're going to Graceland, Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee. We're going to Graceland!
And as is our tradition, there will no doubt be Krispy Kreme doughnuts, sitting around the bar or pool at the hotel bullshitting, a fair amount of imbibing
and who knows we might even accidently get some business done.
Where?
Home base will be the Gold Strike Hotel and Casino in Tunica, MS.
This is a very "Vegas-like" property on the river that is owned by MGM-Mirage. Your One Club card from any of MGM-Mirage or Mandalay's properties will work
there for you truly hardcore gamblers. We'll also be road tripping up to Memphis for some fun outside the casinos. Memphis is about 20 minutes north of Tunica.
The area is an easy drive from most of the Southeast. Or you can fly into Memphis.
When?
December 3rd and 4th. Most of us will fly in early Sunday and out Tuesday afternoon.
Who?
Everyone's invited. If we already know you, you should come because if you don't we're going to talk about you
and tell secrets we know about you while we're drinking. If we dont know you, we'd love to meet you and tell you some secrets about some of our
friends who didn't show up. Contrary to any misinformation that may be floating around out there, THERE IS NO MINIMUM WEIGHT REQUIREMENT FOR THIS EVENT.
Why?
Why not? It's been a good year for some, a busy year for most. It's time to kick back, reflect and relax for a long
weekend. And everyone's invited to join us. We selected Tunica due to easy proximity to many webmasters who do not do west coast or Miami shows due to
distance. It's also a very inexpensive trip. If you're going to Vegas for Internext, this is a good way to warm up. If you're not going, this is
a great way to gamble and have a little fun without breaking the bank.
How Much?
No registration fee's or anything like that. Get yourself there, arrange for your own accomodations. No special
booking codes with the Gold Strike or anything, this is a totally informal gathering. Most events will be dutch. Bottom line, we're not charging anything,
just plan on paying for your own transportation, accomodations, food and such.
